Art School of Raevskaya-Ivanova - Maria Raevskaya-Ivanova organized this school in 1869 by giving advertisement in the newspaper about the opening of a public art school. It was the embodiment of its long-standing dream - to learn to draw all comers. The first school premises were rented three small rooms. Later, the school is not just wandered from place to place and only in 1878 it found its own address on the Chernyshevsky str.
