Excursion "arboretum and historic estates - Krasnokutskiy arboretum, Natalievka, Sharovka"

Sharovka is a palace and park ensemble, the main place in which belongs to the old manor house to adjoin the terraced gardens, paths and tracks associated with a landscape park.
Natalevka is a Kharitonenko sugar estate, named after his youngest daughter Natalia. Church of the Most Merciful Saviour, other buildings made by the creator of Lenin's Tomb (architect Shchusev)
The main manor house in Natalievka was built in the early 20th century,it is an example of "suburban modern" and combines the features of an English country estate architecture and Alpine chalets. The main building was destroyed during the war, but remained the wing, premises.

An interesting water ower, which is decorated with a coat of roof reinforced at the edges of gutters by dragons.
Continuation of Natalievskiy park is a garden dwarf trees. On the slope of the ravine turned to the sun created five terraces, fortified with powerful retaining walls. Accumulating heat from the sun during the day building slowly cools, creates a favorable microclimate for the plants. Unique is that arched shape structure enhances the sounds and a rustling apple leaves blends into melodious music. Therefore terrace called singing. These terraces are protected by the state as a memorial.

Krasnokutskiy arboretum was laid by Ivan Nazarovich Karazin in 1807-1809. Karazin, continuing his father's footsteps, began removing trees and acclimatization hearth. Now the arboretum contains 353 species of flora and 29 species of fauna. (Lotus bloom in July-August). As yet, a part of the underground passage has remained, which can be visited.
